Richard K. Lowy, an internationally acclaimed producer/creative director, has created award-winning global events featuring world leaders and iconic artists. Yet, his most profound work began upon uncovering his father’s harrowing Holocaust past. This led him to produce Leo’s Journey: The Story of the Mengele Twins, narrated by EGOT-winner Christopher Plummer, which sparked an extraordinary reunion—his father reconnecting with a long-lost Auschwitz campmate after 56 years. His book, Kalman & Leopold, preserves their powerful testimony, a mission that has taken him to stages worldwide, including the Canadian Museum for Human Rights on the 75th anniversary of Auschwitz’s liberation.
